Two Wolves
An old Cherokee chief is teaching his grandson about life:
“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
“One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.
“The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
“This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old chief simply replied, “The one you feed.”
Am I guest here in my own country? On this planet? I was at a funeral yesterday, and it occured to me just how rude and offensive it would be if I demonstrated anything less than the respectful tolerance for another’s point of view, that one would show a host while in her home.
Am I attending a much larger funeral mass now? Should I keep my opinions to myself? A good friend when faced with a not so gentle nudge about the real world, told me that some people when they learn they have terminal cancer decide to enjoy the time they have left and are resigned to the fate of an early end. Another younger fellow says he just minds his own business.
I don’t agree with them, but I respect both points of view. Who they are, where they are and for the time they are in, they are doing what they feel is correct. Of course we say the same for Gunsmoke and Rummy.
One thing is for sure more people are more aware than I have given credit for.
Lets thread the eye of the needle. Become aware of your inner wisdom and wholeness.
I have been listening to the Swedish kid, Matt at http://mayancalendar.blogspot.com/ He is pulling hard and I give him credit for the effort. Still, throwing yourself in front of a freigth train is no fun and has negligible effect on the freight train.
You see the train wreck coming just like you see thunder clouds on the horizon. So close the windows, call the kids in, and check on the old folks.

It occurs to me the wonderful job a Preacher did at the grave side of my Aunt a few weeks ago.
He did just that he expressed the intent to make ritual and layed out the platform for all of us to share.

Its funny my oldest sister, I have been thinking about her alot.
Our relationship is in such disrepair. I am actively healing my relationships. Obviously we start and never stop with our relationship to ourselves. Then you can go in any direction you choose. Parents and Kids or Time and Money, it is infinite and perhaps finally it is all one. So I have been doing this work and although there is no hourly wage associated with the work some how the bills get paid. I guess working on your Self can only be a part-time job right now!
To get to the point, I have been wondering what to do. I am in such a tough position that I feel just saying I love you will be recieved as poison. Ouch.
Maybe my sister will read this note I am writing to another Susan. A Susan I hardly know but feel affinity to. Maybe in that way if something isn’t expressed just right, it won’t be taken personally. And the good parts can be allowed past the mind and into the heart.
I am aware of miracles.
Here is a quick note to a local reporter whom I immediatley was drawn too by her personal reflection of her 911 experience.

In yesterday’s local paper, on the cover of the Living section is a large color photo of the plane striking the south tower.
The ironies are many to behold on the page. The problem is we can not see what is right before our eyes if we are so afraid that we keep our eye lids clamped down shut. And so appropriately the side bar headline states “fear is never far from our mind”.
Well guess what? Evolution didn’t stop! and all secrets are being revealed now. This is nothing personal, this is happening to everyone. We are only a short time away from some very big nudges. So I am giving you a little nudge today out of kindness, that you will begin to find your inner strength and inner peace so that you may help others around you when the need your kindness!
There is more to be said about this subject, however I am not the one most qualified to say it. Seek it out. Hunt for Love of Run from Fear. You Decide!
Thats all we are doing here. We are practicing. What is our intent? Are we aware of it? Are we in Harmony with it?
I choose the power of love every chance I can. Sometimes I choose love of power. I recognize this in myself and in others.

My good friends:
Please indulge me with a brief moment of your time, and allow me to share with you my innermost feelings about SNESL.
I feel a profound sense of gratitude that such a wonderful group of staff, faculty and administrators are here on the Southcoast. Everyone I have met here, right down to the last, is generous with their time and knowledge. I want to acknowledge the friendly and kind atmosphere that the students promote. I cannot overstate the appreciation I feel to have been, in my own small way, a participant.
After one year of part time, I am spending one year away. Statistically, although I am unaware of the numbers, I would suppose that, the chances could be slim that I will see this course of education to its completion. However I still possess an enthusiasm for SNESL and for the LAW and in my heart of hearts I intend to continue my education here.
No matter what tomorrow brings I am confident that I am a stronger member of the community thanks to all the participants at SNESL. I would prefer to extend my gratitude to Dean Clifford, Judge Jacobs, Profs, Markey, Cohen, and Markey in person, but my schedule does not permit it. A diverse group, all teaching with your own brand of enthusiasm, passion and kindness; I thank you right here and right now.
I am keenly aware of the world and time I find myself in. I have chosen this day to write you all very carefully.
And so it is on this day that I take the LIBERTY to give you a very gentle nudge. I am sensitive to the fact that administering a nudge when one is not asked for can be a dangerous thing.
And so I do this as if standing on the head of a pin.
I am very grateful that more than any other time in my 40 years, I am able to see just a little bit further over the horizon. Perhaps it was my all too brief interaction with the Administrators, Faculty, and Students of SNESL that taught me to stand straight and tall thus allowing me the benefit of a new found modicum of foresight.
And so it is on this day September 11th, 2006, I say to you, I see choppy seas ahead for our nation. I would ask you to consider in the weeks and months ahead, especially when things feel gloomy, that we co-create the world we share. That you possess a real and awesome power to write the script of your own future.
Evolution has not stopped, in fact some say it is increasing in velocity! This is a fantastic time to be alive! The age of ETHICS is on the horizon. If we can navigate this last giant storm of Power run amok. I foresee a very bright future!
I foresee a very bright future as greater and greater numbers WAKE UP and realize the TRUTH.
We are INDEED able to create our own reality.
If I am fortunate enough to return to SNESL I will do so with great joy.

The guy with the boots
Leaders are not what people think - people with huge crowds following them. Leaders are people who go their own way without looking to see if anyone is following them. “Leadership qualities” are not the qualities that enable people to attract followers, but those that enable them to do with out them. They include at the very least, courage, endurance, patience, humor, flexibility, resourcefulness, determination, a keen sense of reality, and the ability to keep a cool and clear head even when things are going badly.
This is the opposite of “charisma” that we hear so much about. Charismatic leaders make you think, “Oh, if only I could do that, be like that.” true leaders make us think, “If they can do that, then by golly I can too.” They do not make people into followers, but into new leaders. The homeschooling movement is full of such people, “ordinary” people doing things they never would have thought they could do - learning the law, questioning the experts, holding their ground against arrogant and threatening authorities, defending themselves and their convictions in the press, on TV, even in court. seeing them, other ordinary people think they can do the same, and soon they do.
This is why it may be a little misleading to speak of the homeschool “movement”. Most people think of a movement as something like the army, a few generals and a great many buck privates. In the movement for homeschooling everyone is a general.

A Heroes, John spent ten years trying to work with school systems, superintendants boards and committees, in an attempt to affect change. Basically he had to give the effort up. Of course 20 years later we are able to see very clearly why he had to forget about making change. One Step at a time. For now lets swap out the word homeschool for Peace and take the message to heart and then blend it with the words from the Hopi until you have a brew that works for you!

There is a movie called The Secret. I wish they would give it away and maybe soon they will. You can watch it on broadband for a few bucks and you can buy a dvd from these folks and its exceptionally good stuff. I watch it with my little kids and have seen it over and over it is LOADED with good info. The message is very positive and real.
there is a river flowing very fast

The new Hopi message above is something I return to again and again especially if i get a pang of fear.
Basically 99 percent of what will be here is the hard work of others which i intend to point out in an order that is efficient and effective. I am trying to hustle it up and push a lot very quickly. I am not holding back to harm. I need to follow a bit of an order here. I intend to flesh out the website quickly.
In the mean time you have an assignment. If you choose to accept it, please listen carefully to Ian. Does he have all the answers? Well now maybe he does because Like John, he has passed from this earth. But no this video does not have everything perfectly pinned. However, it is LOADED with valuable info and approaches impeccability in many ways.
The opening message from the Hopi ought to be an indication of the depth and quality of insight being offered. Ian and Madeline are true heros.

if you are ready to understand that the truth heals and the truth makes you stronger and the truth sets you free, well my good friend i am here to tell you this is a wonderful time to be alive!

It is important that we all love Richard Cheney(Gunsmoke) and Donald Rumsfeld (Rummy) with all our heart and soul. They are just doing what they think is right. Ofcourse it will destroy America as we know it, but what else is there to do?
